Grootvallei is a family owned business that started operating in 2009. With more than 10 years of experience in the hunting and hospitality industry, we understand the essence of sustainable hunting and delivering high quality genetics in every specie that we offer. We truly believe that hunting can exist in parallel with conservation if done correctly.
At Grootvallei we strive to create an environment where everyone can feel welcome and enjoy nature up close and personal. Our goal is to meet every client's personal needs and want to ensure a memorable African experience.With more than 40 species on offering on more than 10 000 acres of property.
Grootvallei is situated in the North Western Free State, just outside the small town of Boshof and 50 km from the historical town, Kimberley. This area is malaria-free and easily accessible from Bloemfontein and Kimberley airports. We also have a runway facility on the property for private chartered planes.
We offer plains game hunting at its best and a variety of species to choose from. We also offer dangerous game hunting at numerous areas across the country. Our hide facilities allow bow hunters and photographers to experience our game in their natural habitat.
Accommodation on Grootvallei is of high quality and fully equipped. Grootvallei is an ideal environment for family get-to-together, international hunters or corporate teambuilding.
