TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

Travel & Visa Requirements:

South Africa is one of Africa's most developed and traveller-friendly destinations, offering world-class infrastructure, modern international airports, excellent road networks, and reliable domestic flights. Most international guests will arrive via O.R. Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) or Cape Town International Airport, before taking a short domestic flight to the region where their safari begins.

Our team will gladly assist you in planning your domestic travel and will provide recommendations on the most convenient flight connections to your hunting destination.

Important Travel Notice:
All international guests are strongly advised to check the South African visa requirements for their specific nationality before booking flights. Visa regulations vary depending on your country of citizenship, and it is the traveller's responsibility to ensure all required travel documents are obtained prior to departure.

This is particularly important for travellers from countries outside the European Union and North America, as visa requirements may differ significantly. Please consult the South African Embassy or Consulate in your country well in advance of your safari.

Arrival & Departure:
To ensure you enjoy every moment of your safari, we recommend:

Arriving in South Africa at least one day before your first scheduled hunting day.
Departing one day after your final hunting day.
This allows adequate time for international flight delays, firearm clearance (if applicable), and connecting domestic flights without unnecessary stress.

Passport & Visa Information:
A valid passport is required for all visitors entering South Africa. Your passport should have at least two consecutive blank visa pages and should remain valid for a minimum of six months beyond your planned departure date.

Citizens of many countries—including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and most European Union member states—may enter South Africa without obtaining a visa for short-term tourism. However, visa policies are subject to change, and every traveller should verify the latest entry requirements with the appropriate South African diplomatic mission before travelling.

Travelling to Other Southern African Countries:
If your itinerary includes one of our safaris in Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, or any other Southern African destination, additional visa requirements may apply depending on your nationality.

We strongly recommend checking the entry requirements for every country included in your itinerary well before departure. Where visas are issued on arrival, payment is often required in US Dollars (USD) cash, so carrying a small amount of clean, undamaged US currency is advisable.

Should you have any questions regarding flights, visas, airport transfers, or planning your travel itinerary, our team is always happy to assist you before your safari begins.

Children (Minors) Under the Age of 18:

South Africa has additional immigration requirements for travellers under the age of 18 to help prevent child trafficking and ensure the safety of minors travelling internationally.

All children under the age of 18 should travel with a valid passport as well as a full birth certificate (or equivalent parentage document) showing the details of both parents. We also recommend carrying copies of both parents' passports or identification documents where possible.

If a child is travelling with only one parent, it is strongly recommended that the travelling parent carries a signed letter of consent (or parental consent affidavit where required) from the non-travelling parent, together with a copy of that parent's passport or identification document.

Where a child is travelling with a legal guardian, relative, or another adult, additional documentation may be required, including written parental consent and supporting identity documents.

Please note that immigration requirements may vary depending on your nationality and personal circumstances. It is the responsibility of each traveller to ensure they have the correct documentation before departure. Failure to present the required documents may result in being denied boarding or entry into South Africa.

For the latest information, we recommend contacting your nearest South African Embassy or Consulate or consulting the South African Department of Home Affairs before travelling.
